Several US military aircraft crash in Kuwait
Search and rescue teams evacuate crew to hospital
DUBAI – Kuwait has confirmed that several US military aircraft crashed on Monday morning, while also reporting the interception of hostile aerial targets and a separate refinery incident that left two workers with minor injuries.
Officials stressed that crews involved in the aircraft incident were safely evacuated and that critical infrastructure remains fully operational.
Authorities are continuing investigations and coordination efforts as security measures remain heightened.
Earlier, United States Central Command said three US service members had been killed in action and five were “seriously wounded”, as US President Donald Trump warned that “there will likely be more” American casualties in the armed conflict with Iran that started on Saturday.
US military aircraft crashes
In a statement, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence said several US military aircraft crashed earlier in the day. He confirmed the complete safety of their crews.

According to the statement, relevant authorities immediately initiated search and rescue procedures. The crews were evacuated from the crash sites and transferred to hospital to assess their health and provide necessary medical care. Their condition was described as stable.
The spokesperson added that direct coordination took place with friendly US forces regarding the circumstances of the incident, and joint technical measures were undertaken. Investigations are ongoing to determine the causes of the crash, with authorities urging the public to rely on official sources for information.
Air defence action
In a separate statement carried by Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Defence announced that Kuwait’s air defence forces successfully intercepted a number of hostile aerial targets early on Monday.
The ministry said the targets were detected and neutralised within central operations zones. Forces were described as being at full readiness to safeguard the nation’s airspace, with no casualties reported.
It added that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces continue to perform their duties and remain prepared to respond to any potential developments to ensure the country’s security and stability.
Separately, two workers sustained minor injuries after debris fell at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery early Monday. The incident occurred at the Al-Ahmadi refinery, according to Ghanem Al-Otaibi, official spokesperson for the Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company.
Al-Otaibi said the situation was addressed immediately in line with established safety and security protocols. The injured employees were transferred to Al-Adan Hospital, where they are receiving treatment and remain in stable condition under medical observation.
He confirmed that refinery production and operations were not disrupted. Emergency teams activated the rapid response plan and implemented all necessary precautions to protect personnel and facilities. No material damage was reported, and the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery continues to operate at full capacity, with worker safety described as the top priority.
